Overview
The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by the VIT Group of Institutions for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in its four campuses: VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal, and VIT Andhra Pradesh. VITEEE is one of the most popular engineering entrance exams in India, attracting over 2 lakh applicants each year.
Eligibility
To be eligible for VITEEE, candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For candidates who have taken Biology instead of Mathematics in Class 12, the minimum aggregate marks required is 55%.
Exam Pattern
VITEEE is a 2-hour 30-minute exam consisting of 125 multiple-choice questions. The exam is divided into four sections:
